Our Founder

Calvin Harris, Founder and Managing Director of Reveille, has overcome a severe medical setback to create an innovative coffee company making a difference in this world. His journey began after serving and receiving a medical retirement from the United States Coast Guard. Calvin decided to travel the world while figuring out what he would do next. Calvin met a coffee farmer on a backpacking trip to Colombia who had worked an entire day on the farm. Shockingly, he did not make enough money to buy dinner. The more surprising part was that, the more people he talked to, the more he realized it was a prevalent issue among coffee farmers within the region.

As Founder of Reveille, Calvin works to create relationships with coffee farmers worldwide. Creating new opportunities and building a sustainable business model allows them to excel, grow better coffee, and become profitable. Additionally, making these types of long-lasting direct-trade relationships ensures that Reveille can provide its customers with consistently high-quality specialty coffee. 

Before the founding of Reveille, Calvin served in the United States Coast Guard. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science Technology from Savannah State University, an M.B.A. from Hult International Business School at London, and an M.S. in Finance from Hult International Business School at Boston. Additionally, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in International Business from the International School of Management.
